Dry Brush New Year's Eve Mani

Hi loves! Here's my last mani of 2015 to share with you all. I won't actually be wearing this mani tonight, but I did it last week to test out my some new Bundle Monster plates I received for review. I used the dry brush technique for the first time and I quite liked it. It was simple and the end result was pretty cool.

I used China Glaze At Vase Value for the base and then did the dry brush strokes with China Glaze polishes: What a Pansy, Grass is Lime Greener, Peonies & Park Ave, and Metro Pollen-Tin. I stamped using Bundle Monster BM-S212 in Mundo de Unas Black. I was happy that all the little details from my plate transferred since I have had some difficulty with fine lines on BM plates in the past. You can purchase this plate here for $2.49 or here in a set of 10 plates for $14.99.

OPI Gouda Gouda Two Shoes & MoYou London Holy Shapes 01

Hi guys. The move went smoothly and there were no casualties transferring all of my nail polish babies--yay! I didn't get around to using the 2015 Pantone color Marsala earlier in the year, so I decided to at least say goodbye to 2015 with it. Here's OPI Gouda Gouda Two Shoes stamped using MoYou London Holy Shapes 01 in Mundo de Unas Gold. The studs are from Born Pretty Store. I tried to match the stamped image to the pattern on the studs and I think I came pretty close. Go me!

OPI Live and Let Die and MoYou London Festive 30

Merry Christmas beauties! Here's my last "Christmas" mani for the month. I used OPI Live and Let Die and stamped using MoYou London Festive 30 in Bundle Monster Creative Art polish Chaos. I received Chaos along with a few other BM Creative Art polishes for review. I'll post a proper review of those in the next couple of weeks. Hope you all have a wonderful holiday and eat lots of yummy food. Also, I'll be moving in 2 days. I chopped my nails and I hope not to break my nails during the process. Wish me luck!

Reindeer Christmas Sweater Nails

Merry Christmas Eve! Quick post today as I still have some last minute wrapping to do. I made these stamping decals on my UberChic Beauty mat with OPI Tiramisu for Two (nude), OPI Going My Way or Norway (caramel), MoYou London Festive 06, and Mundo de Unas Chocolate. I haven't made decals in awhile, but my UberChic Beauty mat made it super easy. I'm officially on break for a week and a half from work so I hope to make more decals and play around with it a bit more.

OPI GelColor Venice the Party & MoYou London Festive 30

Good morning my polished friends. I can't believe Christmas is less than a week away! I still have to finish my Christmas shopping and wrap presents. I'm sure I'm not the only one in that boat.

For this mani I used OPI GelColor Venice the Party and stamped using MoYou London Festive 30 in Essie Good as Gold. Middle finger has OPI GelColor Baroque...But Still Shopping. People hate this polish in regular nail polish, but in gel I actually quite like it!

OPI Be There in a Prosecco & MoYou London Holy Shapes 05

Hi loves! Quick post today. Here's a mani I did back in October. I actually did it first in gel and it didn't come out perfectly so I did it again with regular nail polish. I used OPI Be There in a Prosecco and stamped using MoYou London Holy Shapes 05 in Mundo de Unas Bronze.

Madam Glam--Silver Magic & Gold Digger Swatches

Good morning beauties! December feels like it's flying by. I have to finish my (online) Christmas shopping soon! Today I have 2 gel polishes from Madam Glam to share with you.

Silver Magic

Gold Digger

Silver Magic reminds me of China Glaze Glistening Snow--a perfect silver microglitter for an accent nail. If you're looking for one like that for your gel polish collection, Silver Magic would be the perfect addition. Gold Digger has a ton of tiny yellow gold flakies and not a glitter texture. This polish was beautiful too, but I'd probably use this one as an accent nail as well. Both polishes have great coverage. You can purchase these polishes here for $19.95 each.

OPI A Great Opera-tunity & MoYou London Fashionista 04

Hi friends. I'm bummed that there are only a couple days left of my Thanksgiving break. I didn't get to do my nails nearly as much as I wanted to. I wore regular nail polish this week thinking I would be changing them up pretty often--nope! I snapped 4 corners on my nails this week since they didn't have gel polish armor on. I completely regret it.

On a more positive note, here's a mani I wore last month that I loved. As soon as I saw swatches of the OPI Venice collection, I knew I wanted to pair these two together. Here's OPI GelColor A Great Opera-tunity stamped using MoYou London Fashionista 04 in OPI Worth A Pretty Penne. Aren't they gorgeous together? For anyone wondering, I stamped with the regular polish and the GelColor is on my ring finger. I bought the entire collection of both regular and gel because I have no chill lol.

Madam Glam Mama Mia Chamelon Gel--Swatch & Review

Who else totally splurged and shopped all the Black Friday deals today? I did some serious shopping today, online luckily, but OMG so many deals! Today I have another chameleon gel from Madam Glam to share with you. This one is called Mama Mia. It's a pink when warm and plum when cold and there's silver glitter throughout. This was so hard to photograph because the house and my fingers were so cold that I had to have a cup of microwaved water and a cup of ice water to keep dunking them in and even with that they kept turning the cold color. Poopy cold weather!

I stamped over it using MoYou London Pro 11 in Mundo de Unas White. This was my 2nd time using one of Madam Glam's Chameleon Gels and I was just as impressed this time as I was the first time. It wore well, transitioned easily, and impressed tons of people. You can purchase this here for $19.95.

OPI Venice Fall Watermarble

Happy Thanksgiving turkeys! Quick post today. Here's a watermarble I did using 3 polishes from the OPI Venice Collection. I used A Great Opera-tunity, Tiramisu for Two, and It's a Piazza Cake. I haven't water marbled in a year, so I only did an accent to play it safe.

Birthday Nails!

Hi loves! Yesterday I celebrated my 27th birthday. I meant to post this mani yesterday, but didn't get around to it as I was too busy stuffing my face with pizza and enjoying the day. I used OPI Purple Palazzo Pants and stamped using MoYou London Happy Birthday 02 in China Glaze Harmony. Harmony is also on my index and my pinky has OPI Liquid Sand Baby Please Come Home.

Bundle Monster Gel Polish--Swatches & Review

Today I have Bundle Monster gel polishes to share with you all. Bundle Monster has 2 types of gel polish available: speed gel polish and regular gel polish. Their speed gels are a 1 step gel polish that don't require any base or top gel. Their regular gel polish does. The ones I received are speed gels. Let's take a look at the swatches!

Rouge Lipstick

Button Down

Cocktail Dress

The polishes I used are speed gels, but I didn't realize that until now so swatches are shown with base/top gel. A lot of the gels sold on the BM website have the bottles labeled "speed gels" for the speed gels and "gel polish" for the regular gels like the bottles you see in my photos so you can see why I thought these required base/top. I realized these were speed gels after finding the link just now and reading the description of the item. There are no instructions on the bottle or packaged with the item so it would be great to have the bottles labeled "speed gels" to distinguish that. Aside from that, application was a little difficult. The consistency of the polish was thick and glue-like. I would have to say the best thing about these gels is that they are super opaque--almost 1 coaters, but I applied 2 for an even application. You can purchase these gel polishes here for $5.50 each.

Pink & Nude with Gold Stamped Studs

Happy Sundaaay! Quick post today. Here's a mani I wore last month to match a dress I wore to a friend's wedding. I wore a pink dress and nude heels with gold studs on them. I used OPI GelColor Do You Take Lei Away and stamped using MoYou London Biker 02 in Mundo de Unas Bronze. The pink is OPI GelColor Suzi Shops & Island Hops. I loved that I "had studs on my nails" without really having studs on my nails.

Good evening! Today I have a some stamping from Bundle Monster's Shangri-La collection to share with you. Bundle Monster's Shangri-La stamping plate collection consists of 10 square plates with abstract designs. You can buy the set of 10 plates or buy each plate individually. Here are the 3 plates I received for review. Click to enlarge.

For this mani I used OPI Products O Suzi Mio and stamped using BM-S105 in Mundo de Unas Fuchsia and Purple.

The designs on the plates are very intricate and I'm impressed they transferred beautifully and easily onto my nails. The Shangri-La plates offer a variety of images such as paisley, floral, and tribal print. You can purchase the set of 10 plates here for $14.99 or individual plates here for $2.49 each.

Madam Glam It's A Funny World Chamelon Gel--Swatch & Review

Happy November! October felt like it flew by. For Halloween yesterday I stayed in, made delicious "graveyard pudding," and my family watched Insidious 3 which was actually pretty creepy! Oh, and I had pizza yesterday which means it was perfect! Today I have a chamelon gel from Madam Glam to share with you called It's A Funny World. It's lilac when warm and purple when cold. There's also different sized silver glitter throughout.

I stamped over it using MoYou London Kaleidoscope 10 in Mundo de Unas Silver. I showed a bunch of people the transition and everyone was impressed when they saw it. I wore this for 2 weeks and didn't get tired of it at all. It would've easily lasted another week. I applied it just like any other Madam Glam gel polish (over MG base gel and topped with MG top gel). I have another one of their chameleon gels to try out and I can't wait! You can purchase this gel here for $19.95.

Jack Skellington Nails

Hi again! I've decided to post both of my Halloween manis today since tomorrow will be November and that's too late unacceptable. Here's the other look I did with Jack Skellington. I used OPI My Gondola or Yours and stamped using MoYou London Pro 01 (stripes) and Fab Ur Nails FUN 1 (Jack) in Mundo de Unas White. Hope everyone has a fun and safe evening tonight!

Drippy Blood Nails

Happy Halloween my spooktacular friends! I did this quick Halloween mani using OPI Tiramisu for Two and stamped using MoYou London Festive 16 in Mundo de Unas Red. I purchased the entire OPI Venice Collection in both regular nail polish and gel and I'm so loving each shade so far!

Madam Glam Not Your Usual White--Swatch & Review

Hello my polished pretties! Today I have a new gel polish shade from Madam Glam to share with you called Not Your Usual White. It's a beautiful iridescent white with a purple shimmer. I wasn't able to photograph the purple shimmer very well, but the effect is much more noticeable in person. I stamped it with MoYou London Tropical 19 in Mundo de Unas Purple and added some hex glitter from Born Pretty Store. You can purchase this polish here for $19.95.

Tropical Leaves with MoYou London Tropical 13

Hey dolls! Hope you're all having a great weekend so far. Today I have a mani inspired by my brother-in-law's shirt. It's funny because my sister and I really liked it and he didn't even like it very much. It's OPI Fly stamped using MoYou London Tropical 13 stamped using Mundo de Unas Aqua.

Watermelon Nails with MoYou London Tropical 08

Hi Beauties! Hope your week started off good so far. Here's another summer mani I did a couple months ago. I meant to post it before summer ended, but oh well, it was still 90 degrees where I am in California today so I would say it's appropriate. It's China Glaze Shore Enuff stamped using MoYou London Tropical 08 in Mundo de Unas Green and Neon Pink. My ring finger has Zoya Pixie Dust Arabella.

Color Club Diggin' the Dancing Queen Striping Tape Mani

Hi friends! Here's a mani I did back in May. I'm slowly posting all my stuff that's backlogged. I made this striping tape mani using Color Club Diggin' the Dancing Queen and A-England Crown of Thistles. Crown of Thistles is such a beauty, I drool over her every time I see it!

Gelish Tahiti Hottie & MoYou London Tourist 17

Happy Sunday everyone! Sorry I didn't post last month. I meant to post before I went on vacation, but I was so busy getting things ready and in addition to that my laptop needed to be fixed so I didn't get a chance to. I'm back and my laptop is fixed so I'll be back to posting regularly. I went to Tahiti, Moorea, and Bora Bora. It was so beautiful there! I can't wait to go on another vacation.

For this mani I used Gelish Tahiti Hottie and stamped using MoYou London Tourist 17 in Mundo de Unas White. Pinky has OPI GelColor Alpine Snow. The polish I used is so fitting as I just came back from there. Tahiti Hottie has easily become one of my favorite Gelish polishes. I'll be sharing more summer manis over this month since I didn't post any of them last month--don't judge me!

JORD Wood Watch Review

Good afternoon friends! Today I have a JORD Wood Watch to share with you today. When I was asked to review this item, I jumped at the opportunity not only because they look so unique, but because I had the perfect image to use on my nails that I'll probably never use again lol. The watch I chose to review is the Ely in Maple.

Here's a bit of info on the Ely from the JORD Website:

"Ely is the complement to our Fieldcrest series, produced using a slightly smaller dial and band, with the addition of a date display. The simplicity of this design accentuates the intricacy of the wood grain. The Ely is understated and effortless.

Features:
-Deployment Buckle with Push Button
-Scratch Resistant Mineral
-Citizen Miyota Quartz Movement (2015 w/Date Display)
-Case Width: 37mm
-Case Thickness: 11mm
-Lug Ends: 45mm
-Band Length: 200mm
-Band Thickness: 21mm

Each JORD watch is designed to be splash proof but is not intended for complete submergence in water. Also note that due to the nature of the wood chosen for each unique timepiece, colors and grain pattern may vary from photos."

It came in this beautiful, sturdy wooden box to match. They both smell great!

The watch pairs perfectly with one of my new favorite accessories--my bamboo sunnies.

I felt silly doing an OOTD as I only blog about nails, but I think it turned out pretty good! The Maple color goes great with a monogram Louis for my fellow LV addicts out there.

The watch fit perfectly after following the online instructions to have it sized. Sizing it is available for $10.00 which is very reasonable plus it saves you a trip to a shop.

And of course I have a matching wood grain mani to go with my watch. Here's Color Club Disco's Not Dead stamped using Winstonia 113 in Mundo de Unas Taupe.

I am thrilled to have a JORD Wood Watch. It's great quality, looks beautiful, smells amazing, is easy to match, looks feminine, and has must have features for me like the date and second hand. You can purchase this watch from the JORD Website for $129.
